The copyright is one of the most important aspects of the digpak because it means that if any member of the audience copies or distributes the music then it means that they are breaking the law and they are at risk of being prosecuted, record labels always put the legal on the digpak as a way of protecting themselves because if it was not there then they would technically be encouraging illegal downloads and illegal distribution of there music and this would mean that they could get into a lot of trouble.

How to use photoshop to edit...

Photoshop was instrumental in our groups success because we used it to edit all of our ancillary products which are just as important as the music video because we are creating a whole promotional package to promote our artist and her image. I mainly used photoshop to put really nice effects on my images to make our audience want to look at them and want to know our artist, i also used photoshop to  do my text because i needed to make it look really nice and clear so that our audience want to read it and therefore give their time to our artist.

My first attempt of my advertisement.

To create my advertisement I also used photoshop. The image I used was a closer up rather than a long shot as i wanted my advertisement to differ from my digipak. To include my chosen picture I had to use the magnetic losso tool and crop around Aaliyah and copy it onto my A5 advertisement page.  The layout of my background refers to my colour scheme of black and pink (Also used on the digipak). As I gave it a pink background. I also used the same similar font which I used when creating my digipak. Above is my first attempt of my creations of my advertisement. It includes the main conventions of an advertisement page such as where to find the album, the artist's twitter account and website page. It also includes relevant information such as the album and artist's name and the release date. The only thing now which is missing from my advertisement is a small image of the front cover of my created digipak to show and advertise the selling product.

I took my teachers advise and deleted the filter i used for my cover image. I did this because it makes the artist stand out. Also because it is the artists debut album her face needed to be clear.
