My personal thoughts after our rough cut:

After showing our rough cut to the class on the 21st of november, it left me feeling positive towards our final future production of our music video. I found that showing our rough cut helpful as we recieved helpful feedback in how to improve our music video before the deadline. The feedback we recieved was mainly about the use of shots as our rough cut consited of no close up shots and only a few moving shots. Also some of our video shots when editing were used for too long. I agree with all of the improvements given to us as whilst during editing I realised that majority of shots where static rather than moving shots, so our rough cut consited of mainly static shots and a few moving shots. Even though when filming and editing we thought that we had 2 close up shots, however during our feeback from the rough cut we was told that they were not close enough in which made them look like mid shots. In order to improve our music video we have decided that we will film again for the last time, fixating on filming moving shots, close ups and a variety of shots from different angles in order to break up the long shot whilst editing. In order to this we have agreed to go filming on either next week tuesday and wednesday down by regents canal.

Audience reaction whilst watching our video seemed as if it had an emotional effect on the audience as they felt engaged to the to our music video as they sympathised with our female solo singer. Therfore I think our choices made during editing such as the use of black and white effect helped to create this given emotion atmosphere towards our audience.
