Do's and Dont's

Do:

• Use clear font
• use appropriate sizes for images/font
• Use clear photos that are in focus
• Use photos that are a appropriate shape for the page
• Use a layout that follows rule of third for composition
• Use the appropriate type face that follows genre convention/a house style
• be careful where you place the font
• follow the conventions of the rule of 3 colour rule
• think carefully about how you use and integrate font/image/text language
• Use appropriate industry logos and conventions, properly positioned

Dont's:

• Stretch images that will make them out of focus
• Use layer styles
• Use unnecessary effects
• Place text across the artists face
• Use a font simply because you like it
• Feel you need a separate photo on every panel.
