The importance of music videos to the fans will firstly be entertainment. This is because fans want to  like what they see. Also the viewer would create a bond with the artist and feel as if the artist is singing to them.A another importance is that viewers occasionally view a music video more than once.

- Still important advertising tools for the artist- creates the artists image- creates USP ( unique selling point) for the artist- raises awareness of the song - increases sales
