different editing styles and camera work used in music videos. The main
differences between the editing between film and music editing are:

is used frequently throughout the music video which is used to give the music
video a structure. A base track can also consit of the shooting being taken in
same location but at different angles to make various different base tracks.

As it is a music video the camera may move IN
TIME or with the RHYTHM of the
music.

JUMP CUTS are regularly used.
·
EDITS are more obviously used in music edits as it wants to be visually seen by
the audience.
·
The common MATCH CUT SHOTS are broken in order to draw
attention to what is on screen.
