Task 1

2) Three technical strengths:
- A very good attempt at marking the sound whilst editing, ensuring that the singing was in time with the lip syncing.
- The editing of our video was smoothly done, as we managed to successfully create a full remake despite the lack of various base tracks.
- The performance of our video was similalry done to the original as we managed to keep it in time with the rhythm.
3) Three technical weaknesses:
- We didn't experience filming a whole base tracks for the whole song, as we only filmed small sections needed. So when editing we only had a few shots which we had to use to complete our remake.
- Some of our shots wasn't equally framed, as it appears that in some of the shots it appears to be more top heavy than others shots.
- During the video some of the lip sycning was poor as it wasn't very clear, this was down to the performer not knowing the song properly.
4) Technical skills that i have developed during AS:
- The use of camera.
- Experimenting with different camera shots and angles.
- Ensuring that the framing of the shot is well presented, ensuring that people and key props do not get cut out during the filming of the shot.
- Experimenting with the use of additional lighting to create more of an intense mood and atmosphere.
- Experimenting with the use of mise en scene on camera to create a specific genre.
- Including font at different sizes, font and layout whilst editing a video.
- Using 'in's' and 'outs' on final cut pro to edit our different shots effectively.
- Adding suitable sound effects to match key moments in our video.
- Adding needed transitions to connect 2 shots together such as fades and blackouts.
- Applying a created soundtrack made on sound track pro to our video.
